These greases are also suitable for general purpose industrial applications requiring high temperature, extreme pressure grease.

Mobiltemp SHC™ 32 is a supreme performance antiwear grease primarily intended for high temperature applications. It combines the unique features of polyalphaolefin (PAO) synthetic base fluids with those of an organo-clay, non-soap thickener.

Product Description

The excellent resistance to thermal/oxidative degradation provided by the PAO base, coupled with the excellent high temperature structural stability and high dropping point of the clay thickener result in outstanding high temperature greases. The wax-free nature of the synthetic base fluid and its high viscosity index also provide superior low temperature lubrication as well as excellent film protection at high temperatures.
Because the PAO base oil has low traction properties (compared to mineral oil), Mobiltemp SHC Series also offer the potential for energy savings through reduced friction and lower torque, and reduced temperatures in the load zone of rolling element bearings. The Mobiltemp SHC Series is available as three products: Mobiltemp SHC 32 is an NLGI 1 1/2 grade with ISO VG 32 base oil; Mobiltemp SHC 100 is an NLGI 2 grade with ISO VG 100 base oil; Mobiltemp SHC 460 Special is an NLGI 1 grade with ISO VG 460 base oil, plus molybdenum disulphide for extra wear protection
Applications:
Mobiltemp SHC 32 grease offers excellent high temperature grease life, bearing protection and grease integrity along with excellent low temperature capability and good wear protection.

  • Splines, screws and some enclosed gearing
  • Extreme temperature applications with a recommended operating temperature range of -50º C to 180º C (with appropriate relubrication intervals).

Mobilith SHC™ PM 460 grease is superior a performance product designed specifically for severe paper machine applications, including extreme temperature environments and exposure to different qualities of water.

Product Description

It combines the unique features of a synthetic base fluid with those of a high quality lithium complex thickener. The wax-free nature of the synthetic base fluid provides excellent low temperature pumpability and low starting and running torque compared to other non-synthetic oil products of the same viscosity. The high viscosity index of the synthetic base fluid ensures excellent film protection at high temperatures. The lithium complex thickener contributes excellent adhesion, structural stability and resistance to water. These properties are complemented by a special additive system to provide rust and corrosion resistance, wear protection, thermal/oxidative resistance and to enhance water resistance properties.
Mobilith SHC PM greases are designed for use in the most critical rolling element bearing applications in paper machines. They provide outstanding protection against rust and typical acid and alkali water corrosion, making them ideal for the wet end of the paper machine. The low volatility and excellent oxidation stability of the PAO base stock ensures excellent service at high temperatures typical of dry end conditions.

Mobil SHC Polyrex 462 is a high temperature synthetic Polyurea grease. It is specifically designed to improve productivity by solving high temperature lubrication problems in both general industry and food processing applications.

Product Description

Mobil SHC Polyrex 462 is designed to offer a combination of high temperature performance, excellent water resistance, and the balanced wear performance consistent with Mobil grease products. They are NSF H1 registered and meet the requirements of manufacturers such as Kosher/Parve.
